This is the all new all singing Gandalf Productions Web Page! But what the heck is Gandalf
Productions? Gandalf Productions is a non-profit syndicate that produces good quality levels
for existing games, why? Cause we're all MAD! I will be producing levels for all you
favorite 3D-Realms games and possibly some ID games. I have now been paid for my work on
"Duke3d Levels" so I have tons of time to spend on this page in 1997. Now this is finished
I will also be making my own episode for Quake. I have decided to scrap the duke3d episode
because it was going on for to long and I didn't have enough time to spend on it and making
levels for a company don't help. My original plan was to complete the episode when 1.4 comes
out, then I would be motivated to do it with all the extra art and monsters that would be
available. But I was very disappointed with 1.4 and decided not to complete the episode. Now
I have decided to start a quake episode which will be fab.
This page has been set up to bring level designers together to help each other out, as you know it a cruel world out there and we level designers get a hard time! I have tried many times to produce an episode. I have produced one for Doom II when I was around 14, but I found many bugs in some levels and decided not to distributee it. Then I got into building duke3d levels, I am now one of the best duke3d level designers on the net! Yeah yeah you say, well how many of you can say that you have been paid to produce a level? Then my levels got snaped up buy a budding team of level designers who wanted to use my levels in there episode. This Episode was called the "Take over". Three of my levels were in this episode, this is when I decided to produce my own episode for duke3d. Things went wrong but it was a vital learning experience. If your trying to produce an episode for a game, like duke3d or quake let me know. I can give you advise on levels and add links to your sites on this very episode page. I need feed back from you for this page to work. I want this page to show people the hard work of "real" level designers! I'm forming a level builders group for all levels builders, from RED ALERT to QUAKE to join this group get the latest info on the level building scene send me an E-mail. You will get regular news letter which will include tip and tricks and general help. Also this will have info about current episodes which are under production. Gandalf Productions aim is to get your levels more notice, I have uploaded many levels and have had no feedback at all. But those times will change! More about this page: I have been wanting to get a web page done for a long time, so I thought the quicker I get one on the web so I would be the more motivated to try an complete it. This page will hopefully be the center of all your net "SURFING" when it comes to level editing. As I say this page is under construction at this very moment so it might not look very good!
