The Amberley collection is one of the most varied in the UK. We have, currently, 4 steam locomotives - three in service and one awaiting completion of boiler work - a large number of diesel and petrol locos and two operational battery electric locos. A third Wingrove & Rogers battery loco is awaiting some engineering work to make it fit for service again.
This page is a new feature on the website and will hopefully assist visitors to the Museum in identifying what is what. However, if you require a more in-depth history of our locomotives and rolling stock, all this is contained in our Stock Book available from the Museum shop or by post - price £3.95 (see advertising feature on the Home page).
